Grass roots movements are nothing new to America, but they are the means through which much change has been accomplished. It is only when we allow the people's voices to be heard that real change begins to happen.
- In 1833 the American Anti-Slavery Association was organized which lead to various grass roots campaigns resulting in President Lincoln issuing the emancipation proclamation in 1863 abolishing slavery.
- In 1869, Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton formed the National Woman's Suffrage Association which began the grass roots campaign that lead to the 19th amendment to the US Constitution granting women the right to vote in 1920.
- In 1955, Rosa Parks' refusal to give up her seat on a bus lead to a grass roots movement that lead to the signing of the civil rights act of 1964.

Women across the world find themselves dealing with fear, guilt, confusion, shame and isolation as they face the occurrence of an unplanned pregnancy. Who do they turn to? Who can they trust? What is the right decision?
Too many of these women are failed by our current system by not receiving access to the appropriate counsel and guidance regarding their options. Pressures resulting from the glorification of "The American Dream" and the interruption an unplanned pregnancy may present in this pursuit too often drive the advice and decision surrounding this sensitive topic. Many under informed decisions in this area leave women alone to deal with the effects of regret and shame and result in the unnecessary loss of life.
At the same time, hundreds of individuals across the world are attempting to bridge the gap by offering information, comfort, hope and counsel through Christ centered community pregnancy care centers but they lack funding and the voice to reach the masses.
Redeemlife exists to mobilize a movement of advocates for these struggling, yet miracle working clinics across the world. It is our desire to expand their voice and reach, connect them within their community and provide needed resources to meet the daunting needs within our culture.
