In the Abortion debate, those doing the real work are often overlooked

It’s easy to debate politics or argue opinions on this issue. Easier still to point fingers at the bad guys, but…

There is a small courageous army of saints who chose to enter into the lives of:

  • Women and families touched by a crisis pregnancy;
  • Those dealing with the guilt, shame and regret of a past abortion;
  • The underprivileged wondering how to provide for their newborn; and
  • Young boys and girls struggling with sexual purity

…To love them and offer life affirming counsel and assistance rooted in Biblical principles.

This army is largely made up of Christian Crisis Pregnancy Care Centers primarily staffed with volunteers who are overworked, underfunded and too often unknown.

Redeemlife exists to mobilize a movement of advocates for these struggling, yet miracle working care centers across the world. It is our desire to expand their voice and reach, connect them within their community and provide needed resources to meet the daunting needs within our culture.

Who are the Care Centers we aim to assist?

The pregnancy care centers we aim to assist seek to promote sexual purity, and provide a life-affirming ministry rooted in Jesus Christ to those touched by a crisis pregnancy as they make decisions regarding pregnancy, parenting, adoption, and relationship issues.

They are dedicated to showing the unconditional love and acceptance of Jesus Christ to clients without being judgmental, and without betraying confidences while offering practical alternatives to abortion. They typically offer educational and counseling services with the hope of meeting physical, practical, emotional, and spiritual needs when requested by women and families facing a crisis pregnancy.

Some of the other services they may offer include:

  • Distribution and administration of pregnancy tests in accordance with all applicable laws
  • Providing factual information on pregnancy and the available options including fetal development, abortion procedures and associated risks, single parenting and adoption
  • Parenting classes
  • Referrals for financial assistance or other services available in the community
  • Access to low cost or no cost maternity clothes, baby clothes, layette items, and baby furniture
  • Classes on personal and spiritual growth
  • Classes addressing forgiveness and healing after abortion
  • Community education programs promoting sexual purity and abstinence
